The Arsenal Football Club Has a Long Lineage
The Arsenal Football Club has been around since 1886, but the team, throughout its lengthy history, has gone through many changes, including its name and location.
It was not until 2006 that Arsenal Football Club moved to the Emirates Stadium. This stadium, located in Holloway, was opened to the public for the first time in the same year.

This massive stadium has 60,260 seats, and the final cost for construction was £390 million. The Emirates Stadium also features the Arsenal Museum, with two video theaters and 20 huge displays.
Facts About the Arsenal Stadium Tour
This tour operates Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. On Sundays, you can go on the tour between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
It takes a full three hours to complete the tour, depending on which one you book. There are four Arsenal Stadium tours to consider:
The Self-Guided Audio Tour

With this tour, you can walk around the stadium at your own pace using handsets. The audio tour is guided by the voice of Bob Wilson, and it takes you to the following locations:

- And More
As a part of the self-guided audio tour, you receive a tour certificate and a branded pair of Arsenal headphones. This tour is £27.
The Legends Tour
The Legends Tour is a step up from the self-guided tour because this option is led by former Arsenal legends such as Lee Dixon, Perry Grove, and Nigel Winterburn. During the tour, you get to be up close and personal with these legends while they take you on a tour around the stadium. You can ask questions, and these former players will even share their opinions about the current team members. The cost of this tour is £50.
The Match Day Tour
These tours take place on match days and allow fans to tour the stadium hours before the day’s match.
During this tour, you will visit the following areas:

- The Home Dugout
- The Diamond Club
- Pitchside
- The Press Conference Room
- And Much More
The cost of this tour is £15.
The VIP Legend Tour

Is the Arsenal Stadium Tour Worth It?

If you are an Arsenal fan, you are going to find the stadium tours are definitely worth the cost and time. Some have complained about the self-guided audio tour because it seems less personal, and there is no one to answer your questions.
If you are a diehard Arsenal fan, I highly recommend shelling out more money to go on a Legends Tour. Match Day tours are fun too. Just remember that match days can get really hectic before and after the game. Make sure you arrive early and use Highbury, Islington Station, or Finsbury Park for fewer hassles.
If you can afford the £325, I would say the VIP Legends Tour is definitely worth the time and money. You get to talk to your favorite legend and spend four hours touring the stadium. You even get access to areas not available to the general public.
After experiencing each tour, since they became available, I have found the VIP Legends Tour to be the best. Yes, it is on the expensive side, but it offers an unforgettable look into the Arsenal world and allows you to connect with your favorite legend.
You will be treated like a VIP the entire time and can even stroll through the stadium at your leisure after the tour to continue to enjoy this Arsenal goldmine. If you haven’t been on one of these tours, I do recommend them, especially if you can upgrade to Legends or VIP Legends.
