Ever since I was a child, red has been my favourite colour and Arsenal my favourite football team. Growing up, my bedroom was adorned with Arsenal-themed posters and memorabilia; I was, and still am, an avid fan. Every time the team stepped out onto the pitch in their red kit, I felt an immense sense of pride and admiration for the players. Of all the Arsenal kits I have seen over the years, one stands out in my memory as my absolute favourite: the 2002/03 away kit. With a bold red and white colour scheme, it was a classic and iconic design that was instantly recognizable to football fans. This kit has a special place in my heart and my memories of watching Arsenal in this kit will stay with me forever.
My childhood love of Arsenal
I don’t ever remember not loving Arsenal and I have vague memories of watching the team when I was younger. I remember my first Arsenal kit was a blue one with a white collar and it was one of the first things I ever bought with my own money.

My first game I ever went to was in the early 2000s, when I was about 11 or 12 years old. I went with my dad and my brother, who is around six years older than me.
We went to see Arsenal play Newcastle United. There were about 40,000 fans there, with the majority of course being Arsenal supporters.
I remember walking into the stadium and feeling the atmosphere and hearing the crowd, while also being in awe of the sheer size of the stadium. As a young fan, I loved going to the games and it was a great way to bond with my dad and brother.
My love for the club has grown and developed over the years and I can confidently say from then on I was an avid fan.
